In 1969 Tandus Flooring introduced the first carpet tile (modular carpet). Modular carpet now accounts for approx. 70% of all commercial carpet and is continuing to grow in popularity.
Modular carpet from Tandus Centiva is available with nylon fibre and a range of backing options such as Conserv™, ER3®, Ethos™ and Flex-Aire™ which boast compliance with some of the following standards; NSF-140, ASTM D-3574, ASTM D-3976.

Powerbond®
(Rolls - 6ft wide)
Powerbond® is a hybrid resilient sheet flooring comprising a nylon wear layer on a closed-cell cushion. Fused together through heat and pressure the layers are integral and inseperable. It provides an impermeable barrier to moisture and helps reduce the growth of mold between the subfloor and the floorcovering. Powerbond® is supplied with a non pro-rated 25 year warranty against zippering, edge ravel and delamination.
